Movi Trail

A landscape I created for the S.V.A.C. fall “Shadows” show.  In an earlier, sketchy stage, Jane called this a “mauve-y trail” but for some reason, I heard the Hopi spelling “Movi” and felt that should be the name of this place, on a trail with another English family sounding name.

I have painted a few images where a passageway leads to the light, but couldn’t have anything to do with finding my way out of a muddled mind or a mossy morass. More likely to have something to do with the phrase from the Poltergeis movie.
